                  45 Hour Home Study Course: $295.00

    This is a self-paced course in which the students will have six months to  prepare for the Illinois State Salesperson's Licensing Exam. Students who are anxious to obtain their license may test as soon as they feel ready to do so.   The cost of this course includes the text titled Modern Real Estate Practice in Illinois (5th Edition Update), study guides, a timed course outline, a copy of the License Law Act of 2000, the AMP Exam Candidate Handbook, 4 live review sessions and the school exam. 

     Instructor Tami Wiggins will be offering a live review for home study students on Wednesday evenings in June from 5:30-9:00 p.m.. (First session is on June 6th, last session is on June 27). There are no additional costs to attend these reviews and attendence is NOT required.  Students are encouraged to attend in order to have an opportunity to discuss the course and key chapters with the instructor.  

The review will take place at NET Real Estate School, which is located inside Century 21 Homefinders USA III, at 7000 W. Archer Avenue in Chicago.

State licensing requirements for a Salesperson are:

  1. Be 21 years of age or older
  2. Be a High School graduate or have the GED
  3. Have proof of successful completion of a 45 hour real estate course.
  4. Receive at least a 75% on the State and Classroom Final Exams.

What is your refund policy? 

There are NO REFUNDS for any of the courses.

 

Is my credit card transaction/sale secure?

Yes. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with the highest level of encryption available is used to encrypt all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, address, and Social Security Number, so that this information cannot be read as it is transmitted online. On all pages in which personal information is transmitted, SSL is used.

Is there a final exam?

Yes, there are TWO final exams! All students must pass the SCHOOL final exam with a minimum score of 75% in order to receive a transcript to sit for the STATE final exam.  Upon registration, each student will be sent a Candidate Handbook that includes all of the information that the students need to register for the State of Illinois Exam.
 

Does my enrollment expire after a certain period of time?

Yes. Your enrollment expires 6 months after you register.  If you do not complete the course within 6 months you must request a 6 month extension in writing. There is no additional charge for the 6 month extension.

If I don't pass the final exam on the first try, may I take it again? If so, is there an additional charge to take the exam more than once?

Students will have three chances to pass the school exam at no additional charge.  Each student is given a complimentary review with an Instructor if he/she fails the test.  If a student does not pass on the third attempt, a student will have to re-register for the course at the full price of the course.

How soon can I take the exams after enrolling in the course?

Students may register to take the school exam as early as two weeks after registering for a course.  Please contact the school at least 48 hours in advance to schedule an exam.
